Over 200 articles and short stories written for a wide variety of national newspapers, national and international magazines, columnist for an international Scottish newspaper and for a technical internet magazine.

She has written several ‘Day in the life of’ style wildlife stories and wildlife reports that have been published in the following publications:- RSPB Birds Magazine, Shooting Magazine, The Lady Newspaper, The Scotsman Newspaper, Tellers of Tales, Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust ‘Sea Kingdom’ books. The animals so far featured in these various ‘day in the life of’ stories include:- Badgers, Otters, Common seals, Red deer, Sea Eagle, Barnacle geese, Oystercatchers, Short-eared owls, Basking sharks, Minke whales, Killer whales, Littoral zone fauna and the Shore crab, and the feral American mink.
